Nisha

Kala Cotton gives Nisha its deep, quiet character, cut into a clean panelled silhouette in black. Mirror and Nakaru embroidery runs through the panels, adding small points of detail against the dark fabric. The work reveals itself gradually, catching the light as you move. The shape stays simple. The craft does the talking.

Wash Care
Handspun, handloom, and naturally dyed garments are made to age beautifully, with the right care, they only get better over time. We recommend washing this garment separately to preserve its colour and craft.
- Do not bleach
- Do not rub harshly: handle with a gentle hand
- Handwash in cold water
- If machine washing, use a mesh bag on a gentle cycle, cold water, not more than 25 minutes, with a mild detergent
- Shade dry: do not expose to direct sunlight as it may cause variation in colour
- Iron or steam on low to medium heat
- For embroidered and mirror work pieces, turn the garment inside out before washing
NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed and indigo dyed garments during the initial washes, after which the colours stabilise. The gradual fading of natural dyes is not a flaw — it is the nature of the cloth, resulting in graceful, honest colour over time. Each wash is part of the garment's story.
