The colour here is the kind of brown that doesn't shout. Natural dyed Kala Cotton in a deep, dark earthy tone, with subtle texture variations across the surface that remind you it was made by hand. Down the front bodice, vertical lines of hand-sewn glass micro-beads catch the light in a quiet, considered way: the kind of detail that reads simple from a distance and intricate up close. Long sleeves, straight cut. More than it first appears.

Wash Care
Handspun, handloom, and naturally dyed garments are made to age beautifully, with the right care, they only get better over time. We recommend washing this garment separately to preserve its colour and craft.
- Do not bleach
- Do not rub harshly: handle with a gentle hand
- Handwash in cold water
- If machine washing, use a mesh bag on a gentle cycle, cold water, not more than 25 minutes, with a mild detergent
- Shade dry: do not expose to direct sunlight as it may cause variation in colour
- Iron or steam on low to medium heat
- For embroidered and mirror work pieces, turn the garment inside out before washing
NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed and indigo dyed garments during the initial washes, after which the colours stabilise. The gradual fading of natural dyes is not a flaw — it is the nature of the cloth, resulting in graceful, honest colour over time. Each wash is part of the garment's story.
