Onyx Kala Cotton Panel Dress

Rs. 9,500.00

Size

Small mirrors catch the light where you'd least expect them: tracing the seam lines of this black Kala Cotton dress, each one set with a fine hand running-stitch, dot by dot, down the front panel seams and around their curved yoke lines. The mirrors don't announce themselves against the black. They wait for you to notice. The dress itself is cut loose and generous, a round neckline opening into a short front placket, half sleeves, and a full gathered body that falls just past the knee. The curved panel seams gather softly at the hip, outlined in the same quiet embroidery that runs the length of the front.

WASH & PRODUCT CARE

Wash Care

Handspun, handloom, and naturally dyed garments are made to age beautifully, with the right care, they only get better over time. We recommend washing this garment separately to preserve its colour and craft.

  • Do not bleach
  • Do not rub harshly: handle with a gentle hand
  • Handwash in cold water
  • If machine washing, use a mesh bag on a gentle cycle, cold water, not more than 25 minutes, with a mild detergent
  • Shade dry: do not expose to direct sunlight as it may cause variation in colour
  • Iron or steam on low to medium heat
  • For embroidered and mirror work pieces, turn the garment inside out before washing

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed and indigo dyed garments during the initial washes, after which the colours stabilise. The gradual fading of natural dyes is not a flaw — it is the nature of the cloth, resulting in graceful, honest colour over time. Each wash is part of the garment's story.
